ABOUT THE TOUR

The Harvest Homecoming Bicycle Tour is one of the most picturesque rides offered to cyclists in Southern Indiana/Metro Louisville (KY). The tour winds along the back roads of Southern Indiana with views of fall colors accenting the Ohio River Valley. This is a leisurely tour for beginner, intermediate, and advanced cyclists. The routes vary from gently rolling to hilly. Once you've ridden this ride, you'll want to return every year!

SCHEDULE & ROUTES

Packet pickup and late registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and each distance group will mass start around 9:00 a.m. Routes and the SAG at Heritage Park will remain open until 4:00 p.m. The New Middletown SAG closes at approximately 3:00 pm.

Note: We are using last year's 69-mile route again. Download the latest version!

SAFETY FIRST!

The foremost concern of the Harvest Homecoming Bicycle Tour is the safety of all participants. Cycling helmets are mandatory for all participants! Please obey all traffic laws and respect the rights of motorists and fellow cyclists. All cyclists under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Should an emergency vehicle need to access the road you are on for an emergency run, please STOP, DISMOUNT and CLEAR the road.

BREAKFAST

We know it's important to start your day off right so for breakfast, grab a cup of Starlight Coffee and then enjoy the fun and taste of Chris Cakes pancakes and sausage - served up (and up and up) hot off the griddle.

POST-RIDE FOOD

In an effort to keep ride costs low, but also have food available on site, we have arranged to have Booty's Diner food truck available from 11:00 to 3:00 at your cost. Booty's will have their full menu, including their vegan menu available. We will provide ice cream for all participants.

SAGS

Riders on the 28, 40 and 69-mile routes will visit our New Middletown SAG twice on their routes. Riders on the 66-mile route will also enjoy a SAG stop at scenic Mauckport aside the Ohio River. Our enthusiastic mobile SAG teams will cover all routes, ready to offer help and encouragement.

MASSAGE

If you've got some kinks to work out, enjoy a complimentary Myofascial Release Massage from SIW's own, Mrs. Naydu Osorio Gonzalez (OTR/L, LMT). This hands-on advanced bodywork & stretching massage will be available before or after your ride. You won't believe how much better you feel after this massage. And, yes, it's free! (But, come on now, tips are appreciated!)

TEE-SHIRTS -- WEARABLE WORKS OF ART!

HHBT Commemorative Tee-shirts sizes Small - XL are only $20 for short sleeve and $25 for long sleeve (XXL and 3XL are $25 & $30), same as last year. Shirts are provided by the Oates Flag Co. (the official supplier of all college athletics SEC flags). NOTE! T-shirts are available on-line through September 14th.

ENTRY FEES -- ON LINE REGISTRATION

Our new EARLY-BIRD RATE (until June 30th) is only $40 per adult and $15 for children 12 and under! After that, the registration fee is just $50 per adult, and $15 for children 12 and under. (until September 18th). Fees after this date are $60 for adults, $15 for children. The deadline for on-line registration is September 24th. Note: Due to the need for advanced planning and the purchasing of supplies, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason.
